After pickup we will have a quick safety briefing and driving instructions before we will all set off following our guide. We will pass through the village of Old Hersonissos and head off to Lasithi Plateu, a fertile volcanic plain surrounded by the Dikti Mountains. During this trip we will have several stops for pictures and driver change. Following we will have a pause at Kera Kardiotissa Monastery, an ancient Eastern Orthodox monastery and the Lakes of Havgas where all of the region gets its water from. Finally we will visit the village of Psychro, where we will all enjoy a well cooked lunch in an authentic Cretan taverna. From here on we will follow a scenic mountain road through the village of Kastamonitsa and start our decent back to our base in Hersonissos.
