After pickup. listen to a quick safety briefing and driving instructions before you set off following your guide. We will pass through Old Hersonissos and cross a dried out riverbed, go through olive groves under the main road and continue up the mountainside. As we enter the beautiful village of Avdou, we enter Gorge of Roza. We start climbing up the right side of the gorge until we reach a birds eye view. A short section of asphalt road unfolds by the Monastery of Kera where we pick up the last section of the off-road track. This path descends steeply into the backstreet of Gonies and returns us back to base.
